The second ASK 14 meeting was held June 25-27 2010 at the gliding field Nastätten in the Taunus region in Germany. Organizing the Meet was Annette and Klaus Peter Gies from the Aero-Club Nastätten.

Eleven beautiful ASK 14s attended, making this the largest gathering of ASK 14s in history.
The weather was picture perfect with wonderful soaring conditions. The eleven ASK-14s flew more that 100 hours during the Meet, including Nadja Eisenmenger’s 300 km cross-country flight.

Bill Batesole, an ASK 14 owner from Vermont USA traveled the farthest to attend the Meet. Fortunately for Bill, Klaus Peter owns two ASK 14s and he allowed Bill “private use” of D-KPGI and flew 14 hours during the event.

The ASK 14 group would like to thank the Aero-Club Nastätten e.V. for the hospitality and for offering their beautiful new hangar for our vintage wooden sailplanes.

The next ASK 14 Meet will be held June 24-26, 2011 at Kirn / Hunsrück in Germany. Jürgen Delzeit from the Flugsportverein in Kirn is the organizer of the event. More information will follow on this website.
